21st Century Schools
Technology has always played a part in education. Sometimes it may have taken a little longer than at other times. Technology will continue to be used and just like with anything else, its use in the classroom will become more effective as we use it more. Practice makes perfect....

The first sentence should be elaborated upon. What is technology defined as? Is it electrical? Something mechanic? Perhaps containing a bunch of random parts that work together as a whole? If "the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment" is what the first sentence is aiming at, then schools have been using "technical means" for a long time. Pencils, phones, locks on lockers, bells, lights, pens, pencil sharpeners, binders, notebooks, and etc. Technology seems to have been narrowed down to anything electronic that costs hundreds (or thousands) of dollars and which is currently in small amounts (if at all) in schools. Clickers, computers, cell phones, projectors, smart boards, faxes, printers, and dvd/tv sets. It's true that using technology makes class more effective because teachers and students have more time to do other things.
